Ben was born and raised in Lower Sackville, NS. He completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2016 at Saint Mary’s University, where he graduated summa cum laude and received scholarships for his academic achievements. Ben graduated from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in 2019. During his time in law school, he was awarded a Schulich Entrance Scholarship for his academic achievements and community involvement. He also received an award for legal research and writing, and obtained a specialized certificate in Business Law.
Ben has worked with Pressé Mason as a Summer Student in 2017 and 2018 before joining the firm in 2019 as an Articled Clerk. He was called to the Bar in 2020 and is remaining with the firm as an Associate Lawyer. His interests include real estate, wills and estates, and corporate/commercial transactions, as well as general litigation. He is a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society, the Canadian Bar Association, the Atlantic Provinces Trial Lawyers Association and the Real Estate Lawyers Association of Nova Scotia.
Outside of the office, Ben has been extensively involved in sports. He enjoys golfing and currently referees soccer at the professional and collegiate level in Canada. Ben’s excellent work ethic, combined with his passion for helping others, will serve his clients well.
